These two APs from our class flew with the group to Okinawa but then left us to become Air Policemen with the 623rd Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron (AC&W) on two outlying islands in the Ryukyu chain.

Air Police School Graduation Orders

A/3C Tom Sandman, with unauthorized hat, in front of Class 15049 training barracks .  We were not allowed to wear the stiff-sided "SAC" fatigue hat until we got to the 7th TDS.  Bloused trousers were worn with jump boots by Air Policemen during  training and at duty stations.  Pants were usually bloused using elastic bands and blousing rings.
